WATCH: Executive Functioning Skills for Neurodivergent Children

LISTEN: Supporting Your Child with Their Neurodivergent Diagnosis
In this episode of the Pooky Ponders Podcast, I explore what happens next when we learn that a child is neurodivergent. What sort of conversations can we have with them to help them better understand themselves and the world and their place within it. How can we keep things positive and just how much do they need to know?

DOWNLOAD: Feelings & Trigger Tracker
When we’re experiencing or observing thoughts, feelings or behaviour that challenge or puzzle us, it can be helpful to keep a track of what we’re experiencing and when. This simple framework enables us to get curious about what’s helping and what’s hindering us so we can start to make some adaptations to our day to day.
This download provides a simple framework for that – there are accompanying notes too.
READ: My Senses Are Like Cups

Sections on each of the eight senses (including your internal 'body signals' like hunger) feature noticing and knowledge-building activities to help kids get their own, unique, senses cups feeling 'just right' for them. Get going on some sensory experiments!”
SMILE: Audiobook Recording Giggles
I recorded the audible version of ‘Parenting When You’re Autistic’ last week. It was hilariosly, brilliantly, fun but I’m not sure I can ever make a living as a voice artist…
