Something new: PDA training that fits in a staff meeting

A lot of you have asked me whether there’s a way to get practical training to your whole staff team without needing to book an external speaker or find a full INSET day. I’ve been thinking about how to make that work for a while, and now I’m building it.
It’s called Staff Meeting Ready, and the first one is on PDA: Understanding and Supporting Demand Avoidant Learners.
The idea is simple. It’s a complete training session designed to fit into a 60-minute staff meeting. Five short videos from me, each paired with a guided discussion activity. Any member of staff can facilitate it - no specialist knowledge needed. Just press play, pause for discussion, and move on.
It doesn’t just cover what PDA is. It gets into the questions staff actually ask: why strategies work one day and not the next, what to do when a demand genuinely can’t be removed, and how your own regulation changes everything.

Comprehensive companion notes covering strategies, evidence base and further reading
Practical reference sheets for staff to keep
CPD certificate for every participant
